專家介紹：
Zhang Yong-Wei教授是新加坡科技研究局（A*STAR）高性能計(jì)算研究所執(zhí)行副所長，于1992年獲得西北工業(yè)大學(xué)博士學(xué)位，先后工作于中科院力學(xué)研究所，布朗大學(xué)、新加坡國立大學(xué)以及新加坡科技與設(shè)計(jì)大學(xué)。他提出并發(fā)展了多尺度建模與仿真模型，實(shí)現(xiàn)對(duì)低維材料的物理特性的精準(zhǔn)預(yù)測(cè)并指導(dǎo)相關(guān)材料設(shè)計(jì)，相關(guān)結(jié)果發(fā)表在Science、PNAS、Nature Nanotechnology等高水平期刊上，谷歌引用近4萬次，邀請(qǐng)報(bào)告(invited/keynote/plenary talks and lectures)50余次。他先后獲得 Institute Highly Cited Paper Award (2014), Institute Best Inter-Department Industry Project Award (2013), and A*STAR Aerospace Programme Achievement Award (2013)等獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。報(bào)告內(nèi)容簡介：
In this talk, I will report our recent progress using theory, modeling and computation as tools to study the relationship between structures and properties of materials, mechanical-thermal coupling and mechanical-electronic coupling of 1D and 2D materials, mechanics in biology and bio-inspired materials and design.
